Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture at Puri beach to wish to the Indian cricket team

luckPuri: Indian sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture at Puri beach in Odisha to wish to the Indian cricket team with message “Good Luck” for ICC World cup. He has created a 8ft high sand sculpture showing a World cup trophy, cricket bat and ball within a stadium. Pattnaik used about six tons of sand and used some coloure sand on it.
The ICC cricket World cup will start from 14th Feb at Australia and New Zealand. Before Pattnaik has created many sand sculptures on World cup. During 1999 World cup he has also created a sand sculpture in Englondon which was highly appreciated at that time. Recently he has created a sand sculpture to welcoming the ICC World cup trophy at golden beach of Puri. I want to wish Team India to keep the World cup with us, said Pattnaik. Lot of people gathered at Puri beach near the sculpture.
So far Padma shree awardee sand artist Sudarsan pattnaik has participated in more than 50 International sand sculpture championships and festivals around the World and won many prizes for our country. He always tries to give messages through his sand sculptures. Basically his sand sculptures on social issues are famous.
