Rotary Club of Capital City,New Delhi Celebrates Doctors’ Day by organizing Health Camp across Delhi

rotdelhiNew Delhi: Rotary Club of Capital City,New Delhi celebrated “Doctors’ Day” and organized free preventive health camp and blood donation camps in Jor Bagh, Uttam Nagar and Dwarka areas for the under-privileged people .The club provided free health tests of sugar, haemoglobin, bone density, neuropathy and free clinical examination of general, paediatric, internal medicine, eyes, gynaecology, skin ailments, cardiac,dental and orthopaedic related cases.
The theme of this Rotary year is “Serving Humanity”. To carry forward the legacy of Rotary, this year there will a series of social and humanitarian activities in Delhi NCR by Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi. Basic education and literacy would be one of the focus areas along with providing medical assistance, clean water, maternal and child care would be area of priority for the Rotary Club of Capital City New Delhi.

Rotary Club of Capital City, President, Mr Brijesh Mathur said “The Free Health Camp across Delhi is a series of our initiatives to reach out to people with medical needs and also impart awareness regarding health and hygiene. I take this opportunity to thank local communities, doctors and our volunteers for their continued support.
Health Camp were organized and supported by Mr. Ashish Makhija Director in-charge of Community Service Avenues of the club, Mr. Saurabh Kalia, Mr. Gurvinder Suri, Mr. Amit Chaudhary , Mr. Peter Staal in-charge of International Relations in the club and other team members of the club.
