The recent announcement by National Test Agency had put quite a number of students under pressure especially the ones in the rural areas, as the NEET exam was decided to be conducted online and that too twice a year. This made very few students happy and got more of them concerned.

All of them have been relieved by the new announcement by the HRD ministry that no such rule will be followed for the examination coming their way. NEET 2019 exam that will be held in May would be same as exam conducted every year, which is handwritten and only once a year. No new regulations will be applied.

This decision came into effect when HRD Ministry wrote to NTA that deciding on conducting the NEET and JEE online would result in problems for students in rural areas. Language is one of the major issue that comes up in such a situation which is why NTA ended up reversing its decision. It anyways seemed a little disadvantageous for the students who aren’t familiar with the online portal and it also raised concerns for the added stress on students.

For an entrance exam which is conducted all over the country, it is expected to be catering to all the students on an equal level but this earlier decision didn’t seem to be doing so. This is why we have the new announcement under which the exam will again be a pen and paper exam conducted in all kinds of languages it was earlier conducted in.

The registration process and everything else remains the same for all the students and they can start registering from 1st November 2018 as the exam date has been announced to be 5th May 2019. Even the pattern in which the exam was conducted earlier will be same and no new concepts or exam patterns will be introduced. The only thing students need to focus now on is the preparation of the exam.

As of now, the schedule has been set as per earlier guidelines. The registration portals will be closing on 30th November so all the students are advised to get their registration done between the given duration. For all those who will be registering during this period can download their admit cards by the 15th April 2019. Meanwhile students are suggested to prepare well for the exam as the exam will be held on 5th may, results will be announced soon enough in the month of June, probably by the 5th June 2019.

The end of all the verdict is that the change approved on the 7th July 2018 has been made invalid now and students can now give their exam without being concerned about any new changes any sooner. Any law passed in the future will definitely be in the students benefit just like this.
