Patna: Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi to inaugurate Conference on Decentralised Renewable Energy organized by Greenpeace on 24th January in Hotel Chanakya Patna. During this occasion Deputy CM Shri Sushil Kumar Modi will release “Empowering Bihar: Policy pathway for energy access” report.

The aim of the conference is to discuss current ground challenges and barriers related to development of roadmap for energy to all in energy poor state of Bihar. The conference will also seek to create recommendations for development of policy framework for energy access with critical focus on development of clean energy infrastructure in the state.

The round table will bring together representatives from the renewable energy industry, policy think-tank, academia, civil society, State Renewable energy agencies, political parties and potential representatives of the Government of Bihar from the relevantministries for focused discussions.
