Ingredients:
For Rice:
2 cups basmati rice
3 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp ghee or butter
3 each of cloves, cardamoms, & cinnamon
1 bay leaf
1 tsp black cumin seeds
For Mutton:
1/2 kg mutton
3 green chilies
3 large onions
3 tomatoes
3 each of cloves, cardamom & cinnamon
4 tsp ghee
1 bunch coriander leaves
1/2 bunch mint leaves
Masala 1:
1 large pod garlic
1 large piece ginger
Grind together to a fine paste.
Masala 2:
12 red chilies
2 tbsp coriander seeds
2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp khus khus seeds
Grind together to a smooth paste

NEW DELHI: Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah was on Friday appointed as the new Tamil Nadu governor while Jharkhand governor M O H Farook was shifted to Kerala in a slew of announcements for gubernatorial posts by President Pratibha Patil.

Konijeti Rosaiah (78) replaces Surjit Singh Barnala who took over the post on June 20, 2006. Rosaiah, a prominent leader from Guntur, assumed charge as AP chief minister on September 3, 2009 after the death of the then chief minister of the state Y S Rajsekhara Reddy in a helicopter crash, and held the post till November 24, 2010.

New Delhi, Aug 21: Filmstar Chiranjeevi today formally joined the Congress and hailed Rahul Gandhi as the "ray of hope" and future prime minister.

Chiranjeevi, who leads the Praja Rajyam Party in Andhra Pradesh, filled up a form seeking primary membership of the Congress and the AICC headquarters in the presence of Gandhi and senior leaders.

"I will remain in the Congress for the rest of my life. I will be a loyal worker...I thank Rahulji, our Prime Minister in the future," the actor said.

Chiranjeevi also hailed Gandhi as the "future" and the "ray of hope" for the country.

Hyderabad, Aug 21: Following the CBI raids and criminal charges against Jagan Mohan Reddy, 2 MPs and 22 MLAs on Sunday, Aug 21 decided to resign from their post on Monday.

The latest decision of Jagan's supporter MLAs and MPs might be proved as a major setback for the Congress and the present Chief Minister of the state, Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Earlier, Jagan's supporters had asserted that they will table their resignations protesting against the CBI registering cases against Jagan and MLAs Mr Adinarayana Reddy and Ms Konda Surekha.
