Anupam Kher interacts for two hours at NSD with the students, audience & media

New Delhi: ​​​​National School of Drama’s “Living Legend” has taken another leap with anupamkher– former Chairperson and alumnus of National School of Drama. The event took place in Bahumukh auditorium. After a power packed performance last evening at Kamani, Anupam recollected his earlier days at National School of Drama and said, “I never knew if there were even books on theatre and cinema. I discovered acting can be done and learnt when I came to NSD. I was very fortunate to have such wonderful teachers who taught us here.” He further interacted with NSD students, audience and media for two hours and shared his life experience.

The session went on with the actor’s personal experiences and how he learnt from his own failures; His struggling days at Mumbai and how he learnt the art of improvisation. The session was concluded with an interactive session between the actor and students of National School of Drama and audience.
Prof. Waman Kendre, Director, National School of Drama said, “We deliberately have started this “Living Legend” series recently so that such seminars can provide immense knowledge to our students with success stories that are both inspiring and motivating. We will keep doing many more such success stories.”
